A supportive and inclusive primary school in Salford is seeking a passionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately, supporting pupils with additional needs through to the end of the academic year.
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday), starting ASAP
- Earn £500–£560 per week as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
- Long-term placement in a welcoming Salford primary school
- Work closely with pupils across KS1 and KS2 with additional needs
- Ideal for graduates considering careers in SEN, therapy, or teaching
- Minimum 2:1 degree required (Psychology, Education or related subjects preferred)
- Previous experience supporting children is highly advantageous

In your role as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping those with needs such as autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. You’ll play a key role in promoting emotional regulation, building confidence, and supporting engagement in learning.
Working alongside experienced teachers and the SENDCo, a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant will receive ongoing guidance and training, allowing you to build practical skills in behaviour management and SEN support strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real classroom setting.
