Full-time | Term-Time Only | £500-530 per week

Location: Birmingham

An inviting and inclusive primary school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide specialist educational and emotional support to their pupils.

What’s the role?

  • Full time, long-term Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role
  • Term time only (Monday-Friday)
  • Weekly pay of £500-530, depending on experience
  • Valuable, hands-on experience working with SEN students in a mainstream primary school setting
  • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities
  • Fantastic preparation for teacher training and postgraduate study in the education industry

What will I do?

  • Deliver 1:1 support and small group interventions
  • Support EHCP targets and help to personalise learning for the students that you are supporting
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and engagement

What are we looking for?

  • 2:1 degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Maths, English or a related subject from a leading university
  • A passion for education and working with young people with Special Educational Needs
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Desire to pursue a career in education (preferred but not essential)
  • Right to work in the UK
