A welcoming and nurturing school in Sandbach (CW11 3HU) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their experienced support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates to develop hands-on experience working with pupils with a range of additional needs, while building the skills and knowledge needed for a rewarding career supporting children and young people.
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff to provide tailored support that enables pupils to thrive both academically and personally.

About You, To be considered for this role, you will:
- Hold a 2:1 degree or above (or be predicted to achieve this)
- Demonstrate a caring, patient, and resilient approach
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold experience in supporting & helping others
- Be passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs
- Be committed to helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally
- Be eager to gain practical experience within an SEN-focused educational setting
- Be considering a future career in education, SEND, psychology, or a related profession
- Have the right to work in the UK
The Role, Your responsibilities will include :
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Supporting children with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Implementing targeted interventions to support academic progress and personal development
- Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional regulation, confidence, and independence
- Adapting learning activities to meet individual pupil needs
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupil outcomes
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child can succeed
