Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – The Opportunity

• £25,000–£30,000 per annum
• Alternatively, an equivalent weekly rate of minimum £550 per week
• Full-time position throughout the 2026/27 academic year

Who Are We Looking For?

Applications are particularly encouraged from graduates in:

Psychology | Education | Childhood Studies | Neuroscience | Linguistics | Sociology | Science | English and related disciplines

A 2:1 or First-Class degree is highly desirable.

Previous SEND experience is beneficial but isn't essential.

More importantly, you'll need patience, resilience, emotional maturity and excellent communication skills. You'll need to celebrate small victories, remain consistent when situations are challenging and genuinely want to understand the young people you're supporting.
