Duties:
Graduate Speech and Language Therapist | Leeds Primary School | Full-Time, Long-Term | Up to £560 per week
Are you a Speech and Language Therapy graduate ready to launch your career in a setting where your work truly matters?
If you're passionate about helping young children find their voice — and you're looking for a role that offers real experience, genuine support, and a welcoming team from day one — this could be the perfect start to your career.
The role
We're recruiting a Graduate Speech and Language Therapist for a Leeds-based primary school, supporting pupils aged 4–11 with a range of speech, language and communication needs across the school community.
Working alongside experienced staff, you'll deliver support through 1:1 sessions, small groups and class-based activities. You'll assist with assessments, contribute to intervention plans, and help produce reports to inform EHCPs and annual reviews. Collaborating closely with class teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams, you'll build a rich, hands-on experience base while playing a meaningful role in developing whole-school communication capacity.

- Monday to Friday, term time only
- Up to £560 per week
- A welcoming, collaborative primary school team
- Dedicated mentorship and on-the-job support throughout
- An excellent platform for HCPC registration and long-term career progression
Who we're looking for

- A genuine passion for supporting children's communication and language development
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Eagerness to learn, grow and develop within a school-based setting
- An enhanced DBS check (child workforce) — or willingness to obtain one
Desirable:
- Placement experience in primary, early years or SEND settings
- Familiarity with early language development and phonological difficulties
- A proactive, solution-focused approach and enthusiasm for inclusion
