A high-achieving secondary school located just 10 minutes from Liverpool city centre is looking for a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain paid, hands-on experience in a supportive school environment while exploring a potential path into teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored academic support in Maths, Science, Engineering, or Technology

  • Work with students in both 1:1 and small group settings

  • Assist classroom teachers with lesson delivery and exam preparation

  • Help students who are struggling to build confidence and understanding

  • Support high-achieving students to maintain progress

Requirements:

  • A 2:1 or above in a STEM-related degree (Maths, Science, Engineering or Technology)

  • A genuine interest in education or a future in teaching

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to a full-time role during term time

  • Proactive, professional, and supportive attitude

Role Details:

  • Full-time position for the remainder of the academic year

  • September 2025 start dates also available

  • Weekly pay up to £560

  • Excellent transport links to the school

  • Teacher training routes available from 2025 onward

  • Immediate interviews for suitable applicants
