We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Graduate Teaching and Learning Assistant to join a dynamic school community. Graduate Teaching and Learning Assistant - About the Role

  • Provide focused learning support to individuals and small groups across a range of subjects and abilities
  • Assist teaching staff in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Help manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere
  • Support pupils’ social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence
  • Use ICT and educational software to enhance learning experiences
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to meet the needs of all pupils

Graduate Teaching and Learning Assistant - What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is beneficial
  • A degree in any relevant subject
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Ability to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Skills to support pupils one-to-one, in small groups, and during whole-class activities
  • Good ICT skills, including familiarity with word processing and educational software
  • A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
  • Commitment to contributing to a collaborative team environment
