About the Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teaching staff to support students both in and out of the classroom.You will assist with planning, delivering and evaluating lessons, as well as providing tailored academic support through small group work and individual interventions. The role is ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching, offering invaluable classroom experience and a pathway into a formal teacher training programme.
Key Responsibilities

Support pupils’ academic and personal development across a range of subjects

Assist in delivering high-quality lessons under the guidance of experienced teachers

Contribute to classroom management, planning and assessment

Get involved in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care

Candidate Requirements

A recent graduate, ideally with a 2:1 degree or above

A strong academic background and a genuine interest in education

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential
