About the Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning across core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science. Working closely with teachers, you’ll help raise attainment, build student confidence, and support pupils in reaching their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students in core subjects (KS3 and KS4).
• Assist with lesson planning, resource creation, and classroom management.
• Support GCSE preparation, with a focus on students aiming for top grades or needing extra help.
• Work alongside SEN and EAL staff to tailor support for individual learners.
• Encourage student engagement and participation inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with enrichment activities, academic clubs, or revision sessions.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking graduates who are:

• Educated to degree level (2:1 or higher) from a Russell Group university.
• Passionate about education and supporting students in their academic journey.
• Strong communicators with the ability to engage and motivate secondary school students.
• Organised, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Aspiring teachers or education professionals looking to gain classroom experience.
• Previous experience in mentoring, tutoring, or working with young people is a plus but not essential.
