A progressive and well-regarded secondary school in Camden, North London is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This role runs until at least July and offers a clear pathway into a permanent position from September, alongside access to teacher training opportunities.

In this role, you will work across KS3 and KS4, supporting students in lessons within your subject specialism (English, Maths, Science or Humanities). You will help deliver targeted interventions, support students who need additional guidance, and contribute positively to the wider school community. This is an ideal opportunity to gain invaluable classroom experience, develop behaviour management skills, and build confidence ahead of applying for teacher training.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting learning in lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Delivering small-group and 1:1 academic interventions
  • Supporting students with varying learning needs
  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor to students
