Are you graduating this year with a 2:1 or above in Physics, Chemistry or Biology from a UK university?

An outstanding secondary school in the Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking exceptional Science graduates specialising in Physics, Chemistry or Biology to join its thriving Science faculty as Graduate Teaching Assistants from September.

The Role

You will:

  • Support Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 within your specialist subject.
  • Assist with practical investigations and laboratory activities.
  • Deliver small-group intervention sessions.
  • Support lesson preparation and assessment.
  • Help students develop scientific knowledge and confidence.
  • Receive structured mentoring in preparation for teacher training.

Person Specification

You will:

  • Hold or be predicted a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or a closely related Science subject from a UK university.
  • Aspire to become a Science teacher.
  • Be available for the full academic year.
  • Live within the Royal Borough of Greenwich or within approximately one hour's commute.
  • Have excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for education.
