The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and support staff to help pupils reach their full academic, social, and emotional potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting classroom learning across a range of curriculum subjects
- Delivering literacy and numeracy interventions to small groups of pupils
- Providing personalised 1:1 support for children with additional learning needs
- Supporting pupils with SEND and other barriers to learning
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement in lessons
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
This role is particularly suited to graduates considering careers in:

About You
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Hold a 2:1 degree or above (or be predicted to achieve this)
- Have studied Education, Psychology, English, Maths, or a related subject (desirable)
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and professional approach
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Show a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Be eager to gain hands-on experience within a school setting
- Be considering a future career within education
- Have the right to work in the UK
