KPI Education is supporting a large, inclusive and rapidly developing secondary school in Brent that is looking to appoint several exceptional graduates to its academic support team this September.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate who wants considerably more responsibility than a typical Teaching Assistant position. Your Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant

No two days will be exactly the same. Depending on your academic background and interests, you could be:

  • Supporting lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Working closely with a specialist subject department
  • Delivering targeted 1:1 tuition
  • Leading small-group interventions
  • Supporting high-achieving pupils with extension work
  • Helping students who have fallen behind to close learning gaps
  • Providing additional support for pupils with SEND
  • Assisting with GCSE revision and examination preparation
  • Creating resources alongside classroom teachers
  • Tracking pupil progress and providing feedback
  • Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
  • Helping run lunchtime or after-school clubs
  • Observing experienced teachers and developing your own teaching style
  • Potentially delivering parts of lessons as your confidence increases
