Are you a graduate considering a career in secondary school teaching and looking for the right experience before starting your teacher training?

KPI Education is working with a group of secondary schools across Bexley who are looking for ambitious graduates to join their teaching teams from September 2026.

These roles are specifically suited to graduates who want to gain classroom experience, develop their teaching skills and progress towards a PGCE, QTS or salaried teacher training programme.

We are particularly interested in graduates specialising in English, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics), History, Geography, Religious Studies and other Humanities subjects.

Your Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers while developing the skills needed for a successful teaching career.

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 within your specialist subject
• Provide 1:1 and small-group academic support
• Deliver subject-specific intervention sessions
• Support students preparing for GCSE examinations
• Assist teachers with lessons, planning and classroom activities
• Develop your classroom management and communication skills
• Build strong relationships with students and staff
• Gain practical experience before progressing into teacher training

We Are Looking For

• A 2:1 degree or above in English, Maths, Science or Humanities (2:2 considered)
• Strong subject knowledge
• A genuine passion for education
• Excellent communication skills
• The confidence and enthusiasm to work with young people
• A clear ambition to become a qualified teacher
• Right to work in the UK
