Are you a graduate looking to gain genuine secondary school experience before taking the next step towards teacher training?
KPI Education is working with an ambitious secondary school in Lewisham that is looking for graduates to join its teaching and learning team from September 2026.
The school has a strong focus on high expectations, pupil progress and developing confident young people, making it an excellent environment for graduates who want to understand what it takes to become a successful teacher.
Whether your degree is in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, Religious Studies or another Humanities subject, you will be able to use your subject knowledge while gaining valuable experience across KS3 and KS4.
Your Route Into Teaching
This role is designed for graduates who see education as a long-term career. You will work alongside experienced teachers, observe effective classroom practice and develop the confidence and skills needed to progress into teacher training.
During the academic year, you could support lessons, deliver small-group interventions, work with students on a 1:1 basis and contribute to the wider life of the school.
For the right candidate, the experience gained during 2026/27 could provide a strong foundation for teacher training in September 2027.
What We’re Looking For
- A 2:1 degree or above in English, Maths, Science or Humanities
- Strong GCSE and A-Level results
- A genuine ambition to become a teacher
- 2:2 graduates considered with relevant experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working with secondary-aged students
- The right to work in the UK (Unfortunately, sponsorship is unavailable)
