This is an opportunity to spend a full academic year developing your classroom skills, working alongside experienced teachers and preparing for the next stage of your teaching career.

This role is ideal for graduates who see education as a long-term career. Throughout the year, you will gain practical experience within the classroom, develop your confidence and understand what it takes to become an effective teacher.

For the right candidate, there is potential to progress from this role into teacher training in September 2027.

What Will You Do?

• Support students across KS3 and KS4
• Provide 1:1 and small-group academic interventions
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom delivery
• Support students with confidence, engagement and attainment
• Develop classroom management and communication skills
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
• Learn directly from experienced teachers
• Gain valuable experience ahead of teacher training

Who Are We Looking For?

• A 2:1 degree or above in English, Maths, Science or Humanities
• 2:2 graduates considered with strong experience
• Strong GCSE and A-Level results
• Genuine passion for working with young people
• Excellent communication skills
• Clear ambition to become a qualified teacher
• Positive, resilient and proactive approach
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship unavailable)
