- Full-time position throughout the 2026/27 academic year

- Work alongside experienced teachers and supportive department leaders
- Gain experience across KS3, GCSE, and potentially A-Level
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group academic interventions

More Than Classroom Support
From your first day, you’ll be encouraged to become an active and valued member of the school community.
Your day could involve supporting lessons within your specialist subject before working with a small group of pupils who need additional academic guidance. You may then help deliver a GCSE revision session, provide 1:1 support, or work alongside students with additional learning needs.
You’ll also have opportunities to assist with creating learning resources, tracking pupil progress, supporting enrichment activities, and contributing to revision and wider school programmes.
As you become more confident, you’ll be encouraged to take on additional responsibility, allowing you to build a realistic understanding of classroom life and develop the practical skills required to become an effective teacher.
Who Are We Looking For?
The school is keen to hear from bright, motivated, and confident graduates who have strong communication skills and a genuine interest in working with young people.
Applications are welcomed from a broad range of degree backgrounds, particularly graduates with qualifications in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, Psychology, or related subjects.
Previous experience working in a school is beneficial but not essential. The school is looking for graduates who are reliable, enthusiastic, academically capable, and willing to learn.
If you’re considering teaching but want to experience the profession before committing to teacher training, this could be the perfect opportunity to spend a year discovering whether the classroom is where you see your future.
