Graduate Teaching Assistant

Full-time | Long-term | Immediate or September start

Location: Central Birmingham

Salary: £20,000-£25,000, term time only

About the role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support classroom learning across KS1-2
  • Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist with literacy, numeracy and classroom activities
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs
  • Help monitor student progress and engagement and provide feedback to teachers

What are we looking for?

  • 2:1 degree or higher in Education, Psychology, English, Maths or a related subject from a leading university
  • A passion for education and child development
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • An aspiration to gain experience in preparation for teacher training
  • Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
