The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils across the primary age range in class and through small group interventions.
- Work alongside experienced teachers to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons.
- Provide targeted support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
- Gain hands-on experience that is ideal for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, or professionals looking to build a career in education.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from graduates who have:
- A degree in a relevant subject (minimum 2:2 classification).
- A-Level qualifications and GCSEs.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Experience working with children is desirable but not essential—full support and guidance will be provided.
