Graduate Teaching Assistant- Oxbridge & Russell Group Graduates
West London TW7 | £540-£560 pw) | Prestigious School | Clear Pathway into Teaching & Educational Leadership
A prestigious and rapidly developing school in West London is seeking an exceptional group of Oxbridge and Russell Group graduates to join as Graduate Teaching Assistants.
This role is designed for ambitious graduates who are not simply seeking experience, but who have a clear vision for their professional development — particularly those considering a future in teaching, educational leadership, policy, or child development.
A School Transformed
The school has undergone a remarkable journey of transformation. Beginning in a temporary building in 2017, the community moved into a purpose-built campus in 2018, creating a learning environment that reflects the school’s ambition and vision.
Today the school sits within a secluded, secure, tree-lined site in West London, offering pupils and staff an exceptional environment for learning. The campus includes expansive green spaces and dedicated playing fields and sports pitches, fostering both academic excellence and physical wellbeing.
This transformation extends far beyond the buildings. The culture, environment and expectations of pupils have evolved into a thriving academic community where students are supported to achieve highly while developing strong character.
The school is driven by a values-led philosophy:
To empower children with virtues that enable them to excel academically and spiritually, and to serve humanity selflessly with love, compassion and forgiveness.
We believe education should shape not only what pupils know, but who they become.
The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers while gaining deep, practical classroom experience.
This role provides a structured opportunity for graduates who want to build the foundations for a career in education, with increasing responsibility as the year progresses.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting teachers in the delivery of engaging and intellectually stimulating lessons
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils
- Assisting with lesson preparation, resources and classroom organisation
- Gradually taking on greater responsibility within the classroom, including leading small group sessions
This role is ideal preparation for teacher training, PGCE programmes, or long-term careers in education.
