What We’re Looking For – Candidate Profile
- Expected or achieved 2:1 degree (or higher) in Nutrition Science, Dietetics, Food Science, Public Health, or related area
- Genuine enthusiasm for food education and student wellbeing
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, resilient attitude
- Full-time role starting September 2025 (early start available)
- 4 days per week based in school; 1 day remote study and training
- Participate in a structured training programme with personalised mentoring
- Gradually build your teaching experience across the academic year
- Achieve QTS by July 2026 and take the first step into a meaningful career
Throughout your training year, you'll receive ongoing guidance as you learn to plan lessons, manage a classroom, and support student progress. With regular online training and one-to-one mentoring, you’ll develop into a confident and capable educator.
