Duties:

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for an Events Sous Chef for our client based in Edinburgh.

Head Chef – Event Catering Company
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £55,000 per annum
⏰ Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team within a fast-paced event catering business. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef with strong leadership skills and a background in high-volume catering, banqueting, or events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all kitchen operations.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality menus for a wide range of events.
  • Manage food costs, stock control, and kitchen budgets.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
  • Background in event catering, banqueting, or large-scale hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen management.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
