KPI Recruiting are on the look out for an Events Sous Chef for our client based in Edinburgh.
Head Chef – Event Catering Company
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £55,000 per annum
⏰ Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team within a fast-paced event catering business. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef with strong leadership skills and a background in high-volume catering, banqueting, or events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations.
- Plan and deliver high-quality menus for a wide range of events.
- Manage food costs, stock control, and kitchen budgets.
- Recruit, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.
- Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
- Background in event catering, banqueting, or large-scale hospitality.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen management.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
