HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 06:00/08:00
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Guaranteed: Minimum 10 hours' pay per shift

KPI Recruiting are currently seeking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join a well-established pallet distribution company with depots across Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for regular Monday to Friday work with guaranteed hours.

Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver will include:

• Load security

• Carrying out multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections
• Driving a curtain-sided, tail lift vehicle using a pump truck
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before and during transport
• Completing daily vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Reporting any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
• Some handball may be required as part of the role
• Defect/ Problem reporting

Requirements as a HGV Class 2 Driver:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Full UK Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 6 months to 1 year's Class 2 driving experience is preferred, although newly qualified or less experienced drivers will also be considered.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no major endorsements).
• Safety boots and a high-visibility vest.
