Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Full-time, long-term opportunity starting in September 2026
- Earn up to £600 per week depending on experience
- Deliver planned lessons and provide whole class cover across Key Stage 1 when required
- Support a Year 2 class while leading targeted interventions for pupils requiring additional academic or behavioural support
- Work closely with experienced teachers and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Build positive relationships with pupils, promoting confidence, engagement, and excellent behaviour for learning
- Join an Outstanding primary school near Formby, Sefton, renowned for its inclusive ethos and supportive staff team
- Previous classroom experience essential, ideally with HLTA status or significant Level 3 Teaching Assistant experience
- Enhanced DBS required

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Alongside delivering focused intervention sessions, you'll confidently lead whole-class learning during teacher absence, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring pupils remain engaged and motivated throughout the day. You'll work with children presenting a range of additional needs, including SEND and behavioural challenges, adapting learning activities where appropriate while promoting positive behaviour and inclusion. Your ability to build strong relationships, think proactively, and maintain a calm, organised classroom environment will be key to your success.
