Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your education career? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in the M1 area of Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development while working alongside experienced teaching staff in a rewarding school environment.

The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Deliver planned interventions and small group sessions.
• Lead whole-class learning when required in the absence of the class teacher.
• Work closely with teachers to prepare engaging learning activities.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

• A 2:1 degree or above in a relevant subject, such as:
• Primary Education
• Psychology
• Sociology
• Childhood Studies
• Education Studies
• English
• Mathematics
• Or another relevant subject related to primary education.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.
• The Right to Work in the UK.
• Must have completed A Levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualifications) and higher education in the UK.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.

Desirable

• HLTA status or experience covering lessons.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
