Imports Manager | Leigh, WN7 | Full time, Permanent | Up to £40,000 DOE
Monday to Friday – 37.5hr per week

KPI Recruiting are proud to be working with our highly established who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Imports Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end import process from PO to delivery
• Coordinate shipments and timelines with international suppliers
• Work with freight forwarders to arrange and track shipments
• Book vessel space in line with business needs
• Handle shipping and import documentation accurately
• Arrange supplier payments 
• Coordinate with warehouse for smooth goods receipt
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays proactively
• Ensure compliance with import regulations and procedures

Experience required:

• Proven senior import/shipping experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end import and international logistics
• Experience managing shipments and working with freight forwarders
• Familiar with shipping documentation and payment terms (LC, D/P)
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple shipments
• Strong communicator with suppliers and internal teams
• Proactive, detail-focused, and works well under pressure
