The Role

The successful KS2 Teacher will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-key-stage assessments while maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Use assessment strategies to track progress and tailor teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Create a classroom culture that promotes resilience, independence, and a love of learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and senior leaders to support pupil achievement.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is on track to achieve it.
  • Has secure subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational and classroom management skills.
  • Is reflective, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional growth.
  • Has the ability to motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities.

ECTs are encouraged to apply, with a structured induction programme and ongoing mentorship available to support your development.
