Rates of Pay

• Driver: £110 per day

• Labourer / Offloader: £100 per day

• Mileage: 25p per mile

Job Overview

KPi Recruiting are currently seeking reliable and professional Labourers / Offloaders to work on a self-employed subcontractor basis in the Reading area.

The role involves attending construction sites and client locations to safely offload and distribute products. Assignments may involve visiting a single site or travelling to multiple locations throughout the day.

You will work as part of a two-person team consisting of a Driver and an Offloader.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely offload and distribute products at construction sites and client locations.

• Assist with positioning and moving materials as required.

• Travel between multiple sites where necessary.

• Work effectively as part of a two-person team.

• Follow safe manual handling procedures and site requirements.

• Maintain professional communication with clients and site personnel.

• Demonstrate excellent timekeeping, reliability and professionalism.

Requirements

• Must be self-employed or able to work as a subcontractor.

• Valid CSCS card is essential.

• Previous manual handling experience is desirable; training will be provided.

• Drivers must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

• Existing Driver and Offloader teams are encouraged to apply, although individual applications are also welcome.

• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.

• Hours may vary depending on client requirements and locations.

• Flexibility is required.
