Your Responsibilities

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with additional learning needs both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Deliver targeted one-to-one and small group interventions.
  • Help pupils build confidence, resilience and independence.
  • Work closely with teachers to adapt learning activities where required.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Monitor student progress and celebrate individual achievements.
  • Build trusted relationships with students, parents and staff.
