Job Role:            Machine Operative

Location:            Wakefield

Payrate:             £12.79/hr

Hours of work:    4 on, 4 off 12-hour shifts (2 days, 2 nights) 6am-6pm/6pm-6am

First Choice are recruiting on behalf of our client, a Wakefield based food & beverage container manufacturer.

We are looking for experienced manufacturing/machine operatives to work 12-hour shifts, (2 days and 2 nights) on a 4 on, 4 off rota.  This role will include weekend work, all breaks paid.

Training & PPE will be provided.

Work will include:

• Machine Operating & reducing production down time
• Monitoring product quality
• Equipment routine safety checks
• Follow all health & safety, hygiene, environmental and quality procedures
• Work closely with site time to achieve production targets
• General duties including housekeeping

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and be flexible to work the required shifts including nightshifts, weekends and bank holidays.
