A high volume/ Automated manufacturer in Trafford park are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to minimise plant downtime, manage projects and implement PPM/ Continuous improvement across their brand new, state of the art facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide the necessary leadership and resources to ensure that all products and services supplied by the site are at the highest possible levels, are consistent with company targets, and meet customer specifications on time and in full, achieving site service requirements (OTIF).
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve department performance.
• Lead root cause analysis and deliver permanent fixes.
• Identify opportunities for optimisation, automation and efficiency improvements.
• Support engineering upgrades and small- to mid-scale site projects.
• Lead, coach and develop your team to ensure effective delivery of performance metrics.
• Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement.
• Drive cultural transformation, ensuring that your team understands Values and applies them effectively to achieve results.
• Hands on maintenance activities across a wide variety of production equipment.

Skills and Experience

• Time-served engineer with an electrical or mechanical bias.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.
• Demonstrated manufacturing and leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in manufacturing software, ERP/MRP systems (SAP) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team whilst working in a hands-on environment.
