This is an exciting opportunity to train within one school environment, gaining invaluable classroom experience while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE within one academic year.
About the Programme
This school-based training programme offers a structured and immersive route into teaching:
- Spend 4½ days per week in school, developing hands-on classroom experience from day one.
- Dedicate ½ day per week to professional development, training, and academic study.
- Achieve QTS and a PGCE by July 2027.
- Receive personalised mentoring from experienced Maths teachers and in-school leaders.
- Follow a carefully structured training plan designed to build your confidence, subject expertise, and classroom management skills.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for ambitious graduates who:
- Hold (or are predicted) a 2:1 degree or higher in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- Have GCSE Grade C / 4 or above in both English and Maths.
- Are passionate about teaching Maths and making a difference to young people.
- Possess strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Are receptive to feedback and eager to develop professionally.
- Are committed to pursuing a long-term career in teaching.
