An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join its dynamic Mathematics department from September 2026.

What's the role?

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that stretch and support learners of allabilities
  • Encourage students to develop problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
  • Play an active role within the wider school community

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS or is on track to achieve Qualified Teacher Status
  • Has a degree in Mathsor a related subject(2:1 or above)
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students
  • Brings enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive attitude to teaching
  • Has a genuine passion for mathematicsandeducation
