About You

We are looking for a committed and passionate Maths Teacher who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be confident in delivering engaging and challenging lessons
• Be passionate about raising attainment and student progress
• Be adaptable and creative in your teaching approach
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Be committed to inclusive education and ensuring every student can succeed

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students to develop confidence and achieve success in mathematics.

You will deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5), adapting your teaching to meet a range of abilities.

This is a role where success is measured through student progress, engagement, and academic achievement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging Maths lessons
• Creating a positive and focused classroom environment
• Assessing student progress and implementing targeted support
• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning
• Supporting students in achieving strong academic outcomes
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and wider school staff
