MECHANICAL ENGINEER
CREWE (OUTSKIRTS)
MONDAY TO FRIDAY
£14.00 – £16.00 PER HOUR
Working for one of the UK’s market-leading companies in the supply, manufacture, design, install and service of hydraulics equipment, you will be a dynamic and motivated individual who thrives on working within fast-paced workshop team, the ideal candidate will be a motivated individual working alongside experienced engineers servicing, repairing and assembling pumps and related equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Service, repair and assembly of all makes and models of pumps, motors, engine sets and related equipment
- Complete and maintain company documentation in relation to work activities and QA procedures
- Liaising with customers and suppliers as required
- Assisting internal and external teams in resolving technical issues
- Keep workshop facilities in a clean, safe and orderly condition
- Communicate at all levels
- Programme own workload to achieve customer and company deadlines
- Be responsible for the care of company vehicles, tools and equipment, reporting defects
- Give regular feedback to your department manager
- Driving to and from sites with the U.K.
- Maintain company procedures and improve where possible
- Ensure that all materials are available and correct before starting work
- Identify training needs
- Be flexible to the requirements of the business
- Observe and maintain the company’s Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.
- Undertake any other duties that may be required from time to time
Training
- Level 3 Mechanical engineering qualification – Desirable
- Electrical qualification to 17th or 18th Edition – Desirable
- Confined space training – Desirable
- First Aid – Desirable
- CSCS – Desirable
- 5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience – Desirable
- Knowledge of the industry – Desirable
EXPERIENCE
- Able to confidently identify motor faults – Desirable
- Experience of working in a similar role or maintenance – Desirable
- Preferably with pumps, valves, pipework and control panels – Desirable

- Ability to work flexibly

- Strong prioritisation skills, ability to manage own workload
- Self-motivated and positive attitude
- Willing to learn new skills
