We are delighted to present outstanding permanent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher opportunities in thriving language departments across leading Leeds secondary schools beginning September 2025. We are specifically seeking Modern Foreign Languages Teachers specialising in:
- French: Developing students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in this global language while exploring French culture, literature, and current affairs.
- Spanish: Guiding students in mastering one of the world's most widely spoken languages, exploring Hispanic cultures across continents, and building practical communication skills.
- German: Supporting students in learning this important European language, developing appreciation for German-speaking cultures, and building strong linguistic foundations.
- Italian: Teaching this beautiful language while introducing students to Italy's rich cultural heritage, from art and design to food and contemporary society.
Location: Leeds
Salary: £31,650 (M1 on the Leeds City Region Modern Foreign Languages Teacher Pay Scale)

Modern Foreign Languages Teacher candidate requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status in modern foreign languages (or expected completion by summer 2025)
- Native or near-native fluency in at least one of French, Spanish, German, or Italian

- Commitment to creating engaging, interactive language learning environments
