A leading UK manufacturer operating one of the region’s most advanced production facilities is looking to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their high-performing engineering team.

The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving production performance across a busy manufacturing site.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding on automated production machinery
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
- Reactive breakdown support to minimise downtime
- Working on conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, pumps, PLCs and control systems
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Assisting with machinery installations and upgrades
- Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and to high standards
- Working closely with production teams to maximise plant efficiency
What we’re looking for
- Apprentice trained or qualified engineer (Electrical or Multi-Skilled)
- Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG or heavy industry environments
- Strong electrical fault finding abilities
- Experience with PLC fault finding and automated machinery
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Mechanical knowledge
