A leading UK manufacturer operating one of the region’s most advanced production facilities is looking to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their high-performing engineering team.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving production performance across a busy manufacturing site.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding on automated production machinery
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
  • Reactive breakdown support to minimise downtime
  • Working on conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, pumps, PLCs and control systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
  • Assisting with machinery installations and upgrades
  • Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and to high standards
  • Working closely with production teams to maximise plant efficiency

What we’re looking for

  • Apprentice trained or qualified engineer (Electrical or Multi-Skilled)
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG or heavy industry environments
  • Strong electrical fault finding abilities
  • Experience with PLC fault finding and automated machinery
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Mechanical knowledge
