KPI Education is partnering with a highly regarded specialist SEN school in Camden to appoint a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking setting that places therapy at the heart of its provision for children and young people with autism and additional needs.
The Role
As an Occupational Therapist within this specialist setting, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 4–19 to develop independence, improve regulation, and fully access their education.
Working as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, you will deliver a high-quality, evidence-based therapy service tailored to individual student needs. The role combines hands-on clinical work with opportunities to influence wider school practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and deliver targeted interventions
- Support pupils with sensory processing, motor coordination, and functional life skills
- Design and implement personalised therapy programmes aligned with EHCP outcomes
- Deliver both individual (1:1) and group-based interventions
- Develop and embed sensory strategies to improve regulation and classroom engagement
- Interpret assessment data to inform effective therapy planning
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and clinical colleagues
- Provide training, advice, and practical strategies to school staff
- Track pupil progress and adapt interventions to maximise outcomes
- Liaise with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a joined-up approach

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- Be HCPC registered and a member of RCOT (or equivalent)
- Have experience working with children and young people with SEN (autism experience desirable)
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of sensory integration and functional skill development
- Be confident working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be adaptable, resilient, and committed to supporting pupils with complex needs
