Job Type: Self-Employed / Subcontractor
Working Hours: Flexible, typically 2-6 hours per day excluding driving time
Start Times: Between 8:00am and 11:00am

Rate: Driver £110 - Labourer £100 Per day (Must have own vehicle) 

Mileage: 25p Per Mile 

We are currently seeking reliable and professional Offloaders to work on a self-employed subcontractor basis.

The successful candidates will attend construction sites and client locations to offload and distribute products safely and efficiently. The role may involve attending a single location or travelling with the client's vehicle to multiple sites throughout the day.

You will work as part of a two-person team consisting of an Driver and Offloader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely offload and distribute products at construction sites and client locations.

  • Assist with the positioning and movement of materials as required.

  • Travel with the client's vehicle to multiple locations where necessary.

  • Work effectively as part of a two-person team.

  • Follow safe manual handling procedures and site requirements.

  • Maintain professional communication with clients, drivers and site personnel.

  • Ensure excellent timekeeping, reliability and professionalism at all times.

  • Complete all duties safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Must be self-employed / able to work as a subcontractor.

  • Valid CSCS card is essential

  • Previous manual handling experience is desirable but full training will be provided.

  • Must be able to work as part of a mobile two-person team.

  • The accompanying Driver must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

  • Existing Offloader and Driver teams are encouraged to apply.

  • Individual applicants are also welcome.

  • Strong reliability and punctuality.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.

Working Hours

  • Start times typically between 8:00am and 11:00am.

  • Daily working hours generally range from 2-6 hours, excluding driving time.

  • Working hours may vary depending on client requirements and location.

  • Flexibility is required as assignments may involve multiple sites.
