Want to spend the next academic year making a genuine impact whilst working alongside some of the country's most exceptional educators?

An exceptional secondary school in Westminster is seeking an outstanding Oxford or Cambridge graduate to join its academic support team as an Oxbridge Graduate Teaching Assistant from September.

This is not your typical graduate role.

This is an opportunity to become part of a high-performing school where academic excellence, ambition and intellectual curiosity are embedded into every aspect of school life. You'll work with highly motivated students who aspire to Russell Group universities, Oxbridge and competitive degree apprenticeships, supporting them to achieve their full potential whilst developing into an outstanding educator yourself.

Whether you're considering teacher training, educational psychology, academia, public policy or leadership within education, this role offers an unrivalled foundation for your future career.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-level academic mentoring across your specialist subject.
  • Support GCSE and A-Level students through challenging examination content.
  • Lead small-group masterclasses for high-attaining pupils.
  • Provide one-to-one mentoring for students aiming for Oxbridge and Russell Group universities.
  • Work alongside exceptional teachers to plan engaging learning activities.
  • Inspire curiosity, confidence and academic resilience.
  • Become an influential role model within the wider school community.

Why This School?

  • £28,000–£32,000 salary.
  • Term-time only with outstanding work-life balance.
  • Exceptional mentoring from experienced teachers and senior leaders.
  • Bespoke teacher training pathway with opportunities to progress into salaried teacher training.
  • Outstanding academic outcomes year after year.
  • Modern facilities and exceptional teaching resources.
  • Collaborative staff culture where graduates are genuinely valued.
  • A vibrant Westminster location with outstanding transport links.
  • A school that celebrates ambition, innovation and excellence.

We're Looking For

  • An Oxford or Cambridge graduate with an outstanding academic record.
  • A minimum 2:1 degree, with many successful applicants holding a First.
  • Strong A-Level and GCSE results.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Natural confidence and the ability to inspire young people.
  • A genuine passion for education and developing future generations.

If you've excelled academically and want to use your knowledge to transform young lives while gaining first-class classroom experience, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Join a school where excellence is expected, talent is nurtured and your career can flourish from day one.
