We are a small, growing supported living property provider with properties in and around Stoke. We are committed to creating safe, functional and uplifting environments for our tenants.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on, part-time Maintenance manager to help us maintain and improve our portfolio of homes across the area.
This is a diverse and practical role requiring a proactive, skilled individual who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’ll be responsible for carrying out property maintenance and small improvement projects across multiple supported living homes. Some travel will be required.
Typical tasks might include
- Assembling furniture and completing minor refurbishment works
- Replacing flooring, painting or decorating rooms
- Diagnosing and fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues
- Coordinating with specialist trades where needed
- Regular garden maintenance
- Suggesting creative solutions to improve living spaces for our residents
- Working alongside the Property Manager to complete larger projects where required
- Travel to further away sites is possible
Hours & Schedule
- Part-time: 3 days per week
- Flexible schedule, but reliability and commitment are key
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in property maintenance, building, or a related trade
- A practical trade qualification (e.g. plumbing, joinery, general building, etc.)
- A "turn your hand to anything" attitude – from hanging shelves to managing small builds
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- A creative problem solver who cares about tenant experience
- A clean driving licence, vehicle and own tools
- Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS Check
