Duties:
Technical Services Co-ordinator
Sector: Food Manufacturing / FMCG
Hours: Part time 20 to 25 Hours PW
About the Role
We're supporting a leading food manufacturer in their search for a Technical Services Co-ordinator - a pivotal role ensuring product and process compliance with both internal and customer standards.
You'll work closely with Production, Engineering, R&D, HS&E, Procurement and Supply Chain to uphold the highest levels of food safety, quality, and legal compliance, helping the business maintain its strong reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Support the management of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (FSQM) on site.
 - 
Communicate and manage any out-of-spec or non-conforming products.
 - 
Maintain and issue product specifications and ensure technical documentation is accurate and complete.
 - 
Handle customer questionnaires and technical queries promptly.
 - 
Oversee technical artwork approval, ensuring legal compliance and barcode generation.
 - 
Conduct internal system audits and support external audits (BRCGS, COP, etc.).
 - 
Play an active role in continuous improvement and site-wide quality initiatives.
 - 
Maintain robust document control relating to food safety.
 
What We're Looking For
- 
Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2 (minimum).
 - 
Experience within a technical or QA function in the food manufacturing sector.
 - 
Good understanding of BRCGS, Food Defence, GHP, and GMP.
 - 
Strong communication and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
 - 
Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams.
 - 
Experience with legal labelling and technical artwork is a plus.
 - 
Internal auditing or basic microbiology knowledge advantageous.
