Picker and Packer
Location: Middlewich
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00am - 16:30pm
Pay: £12.21 per hour

KPI Recruiting are looking for a picker and packer to join our client’s team working in Middlewich. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable and hardworking to join the warehouse team. This role involves picking and packing customer orders, operating machinery, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of all outbound shipments. This position involves general labour tasks on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Locate and retrieve items from shelves or storage areas, package them correctly as per instructions or customer orders.
• Inspect products for damage or defects before packing, removing any that fail quality checks.
• Accurately weigh packages and apply correct shipping labels to ensure compliance and tracking.
• Maintain clear records of items packed and shipped to support inventory accuracy.
• Replenish packaging supplies such as boxes, tape, and labels as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety procedures.
• Some handballing and heavy lifting may be required, depending on daily order volumes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting tasks.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
• Previous warehouse or packing experience is desirable but not essential.
