KPI Recruiting are currently looking for a Prep Operative / Waxoyl Operative to join our client based in Bolton.

This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting production and ensuring products are prepared to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing:

• Applying Waxoyl to beams across all production lines.
• Moving completed beams to the warehouse using a pallet truck when stillages are full.
• Replacing empty stillages to keep production running efficiently.
• Booking completed beams into the warehouse.
• Nutting up beams as required.
• Carrying out rubber cutting duties.
• Completing cup and studding tasks when required.
• Assisting with drilling duties when needed.
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and organised.
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is beneficial.
• Experience using a pallet truck is advantageous.
• A good work ethic and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to health and safety.
• Flexibility to support different areas of production when required.
