Responsibilities: Primary Early Careers Teacher

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons across Key Stage 1 or 2
  • Foster pupils’ development in core areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning
  • Use formative and summative assessment to guide instruction and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and school initiatives
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, and the wider school community

Person Specification: Primary Early Careers Teacher

  • Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for primary education and a desire to make a meaningful impact
  • Approaches teaching with creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to reflective practice
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Eager to engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to a collaborative team environment
