Primary ECT - Your Key Responsibilities
- Teach a class within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your placement
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons
- Foster a positive learning environment where every child can thrive
- Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor your teaching to individual needs
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver a cohesive and inspiring curriculum
- Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
Primary ECT - What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification as an ECT
- A degree in Primary Education or a related subject
- A genuine passion for teaching and a desire to inspire young minds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible, creative approach and the ability to work collaboratively
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and reflective practice
