Primary ECT - Your Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a class within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your placement
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons
  • Foster a positive learning environment where every child can thrive
  • Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor your teaching to individual needs
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver a cohesive and inspiring curriculum
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

Primary ECT - What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification as an ECT
  • A degree in Primary Education or a related subject
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a desire to inspire young minds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible, creative approach and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth and reflective practice
