What You’ll Be Doing as a Primary ECT:

  • Teaching and supporting pupils in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
  • Delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning
  • Helping pupils develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development
  • Monitoring progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver a cohesive, effective curriculum
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT completing training by Summer 2025
  • A degree in Primary Education or a related subject
  • A genuine passion for early years or primary teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, adaptable teaching methods tailored to individual learners
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
