Duties:

Experienced Primary SENCO – Full-Time Permanent Role
Start Date: September 2026

An ambitious and inclusive primary school in the Outer London Borough of Redbridge is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate SENCO to join its dedicated leadership team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled primary practitioner with a strong understanding of SEND provision and inclusion to play a key role in shaping outcomes for pupils across the school. The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring that every child receives the support, challenge, and opportunities they need to thrive.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be willing to complete it)
  • Have significant experience working within a primary school setting
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Have a thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
  • Be passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs
  • Work effectively with staff, families, external agencies, and the wider community
  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality adaptive teaching and intervention strategies
