PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATOR

£24,000 – £27,000 PER ANNUM

MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8.30AM – 4.30PM

KPI Recruiting are currently partnered with a global leading company based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire. Specialising within their field for over four decades, this has allowed the growth of their large network of international hubs within Europe, USA, China, Asia and the Middle East.

The role will be based in their UK Hub, which is regularly updated with Modern facilities that create a motivating and productive environment for each and every employee. Our client is also situated in an easy-access location which is close to excellent transport links for those that do and don’t drive!

Due to exponential growth, our client are looking for a Production Planning Administrator to join their busy Production Planning team on a permanent, full-time basis. As an important member of the team, they are looking for an individual to effectively plan the Production teams workload in order to meet targets, ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner and any errors are identified, highlighted and corrected. 

The right candidate will have strong communication skills to enable and develop great lines of communication within our client’s business departments and management. As well as have a background knowledge of the system Sage 200.

As a Production Planning Administrator your role will include but is not limited to:

  • Ensure any amendments made to Sales Orders after processing are carried through on the relevant system/paperwork
  • Communicate effectively to teams members in all departments
  • Provide administrative to ensure workloads are planned
  • Maintain all relative spreadsheets used for data entry and progress monitoring
  • Provide feedback to management on data and performance figures
  • Set up monthly and quarterly report templates
  • Cover any necessary functions during absences
  • Support departments with improvement projects to the Sage system
  • Ensure all data entered in the Sage system is correct and verified
  • Continuous self-development and keep up to date with company policies, procedures and products
  • Ensure all service levels for internal stakeholders are met

To be a successful candidate you will be:

  • Ability to follow procedures and guidelines
  • Process and produce knowledge of the services offered
  • Efficient computer skills and PC Package experience
  • Sage 200 experience is essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data
  • Strong communication skills
