Salary: £45k-£50k DOE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee our client’s production team based in Runcorn. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, upholding health and safety standards and achieving key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the production team to ensure strong performance, engagement and product integrity
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment
- Monitor production throughput and consistently meet set KPIs and output targets
- Optimise machinery efficiency to maximise productivity and minimise downtime and waste
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures to maintain operational consistency and product quality
- Analyse production data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reductions
- Work collaboratively with the Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure equipment operates at peak performance
- Manage production schedules to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders
- Provide regular performance updates and reports to senior management

- Demonstrable experience in a Production Manager role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to support informed decision-making
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
- Proficiency in using production planning and management software
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
